Consolidation Program Focused on Easing Student Debt Burden

Concord, NH — On February 28, The New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation, one of the Concord, NH based nonprofit organizations that form The NHHEAF Network Organizations, launched the EDvestinU™ Private Student Loan Consolidation program for students nationwide. The program, created to ease the burden of student loan debt that college graduates face by aiding in successful management of student loan obligations, offers competitive fixed and variable interest rates, zero fees, flexible repayment options and free financial literacy support.

The consolidation loans, serviced by the nonprofit student loan servicer Granite State Management & Resources, also one of The NHHEAF Network Organizations, nationally recognized for their level of customer service, offers additional benefits including the ability to refinance one private loan or combine numerous private loans borrowed over the years into one loan, with one monthly payment, a .25% interest rate reduction for automatic payments and a co–signer release option for eligible borrowers.

Interested private loan borrowers can access information at www.edvestinu.com/consolidation. The website includes in–depth loan program information, access to the online application and important financial literacy resources, including free monthly seminars and loan repayment calculators through the organization’s Campaign for Financial Education. "College graduation can be a stressful time for students as they step into real world situations including job interviews and increased financial obligations," stated Sara Alosa, Vice President of Education Resources at The NHHEAF Network Organizations. "This program reiterates our commitment to supporting students, not only during their pursuit of higher education, but throughout the loan repayment process, giving these borrowers the avenue of support they need to get them started off on the right foot financially."
